so the sixth day its nearing an end...kind of. its only just past 8,but i dont think im going to do much else tonight besides get some food so that i can rest up. today was the last one of my coach tours and my second to last day full day in london. i walked over to victoria coach station at 8:00am after grabbing a ham and cheese sandwich from my hostel. right when i got there they were sending a coahc out early so i was able to hop on that one. first stop was about 20minutes away at windsor castle. this is supposedly the queens favorite home even though she only uses it on weekends and holidays. the first thing i saw on the castle grounds was st. georges cathedral which was nice (but the one at canterbury i saw yesterday was my favorite so far). from there i went to the queens doll house thingy (which i found to be kinda boring since it only had like dolls and gifts given to the queen). after that it got better. i went into the state apartments and got to walk through about half the castle it felt like. and all the rooms were super nice. its hard to believe that anyone can need or even have that many rooms. id have liked to take a few home with me. after that i walked around the castle ground a bit more and saw the end of the changiing of the guard. it was kinda scary cuz i was on my way towards the exit of the castle and right as i turned the corner there was a security lady that said i had to get to the side of the road because the guard was coming, and sure enough i looked ahead and saw them coming straight at me. i got some good pictures of it though. after i finally made it out of the castle i went to mcdonalds for a quick bite to eat before heading back to the coach. once aboard, we made about an hour and a half drive to the town of Bath which is famous for its hot springs that the romans used (and jane austen, but that didnt interest me as much). on the way to the roman baths we saw the circus which its apartment number 4. that was pointed out to us is owned by nicholas cage. Soon we hopped off the coach and saw bath abbey which was hosting some form of graduation, made our way to the other side, and entered the roman baths. they baths were pretty cool. not muchwas left from the roman days since it was like 1500 years ago, but the hot springs were still there. after i left the baths i walked around the city a bit, sat in the park and finshed off my bag of twizzlers, then got back on the coach. the next stop was the one i was most excited for - stonehenge. after the 50 minute drive we made it there. it looked exactly as it does in all the pictures - the rocks didnt jump up and dance or anything, but it was still really neat to see them in person. i got some really nice pictures of them as well. after that i got back on the coach for the last time and we made about a 2 hour drive back into london. the guide said we drove over 300 miles, but i dont believe him cuz it didnt feel that long. i got dropped of in victoria near my hostel, and made the short walk back with plenty of time still left in the day, and nothing else planned - which was a change. so yaaa...that was my day so far. like i said, ill probably just go out and get some food soon, then coome back and maybe watch a movie or something before calling it. C ya! ps- pics
